[CP+ 2010] Sigma SD15 Hands-On

Announced last February, the Sigma SD15 is the long awaited upgrade of the good old SD14 introduced in 2007. Our 14Mpix DSLR features the manufacturer’s awesome Foveon X3 technology that will literally blow your mind on any DP1 and DP2 point and shoot, as well as Sigma’s latest “TRUE II” image processor for better and sharper pictures.
Now if unfortunately an event is not the best place to get to try a camera, we can give you however our first impression. Well-built as usual but still rough on the edge like any Sigma Camera (both Point & Shoot and DSLR) the SD15 however stand-up compares to the earlier models with this time an overall better plastic quality and especially way better LCD monitor… Now we will have to wait for a test sample to give our final thoughts on what could be the next big hit from Sigma.
