Portable DVD player with TV tuner

The portable DVD players were lacking one function: TV. And that problem is now resolved with this AXN 4709TM by AXION. This small player from Japan offers playback of DVD Video on its 7″ screen and it also plays audio CD’s and MP3 files. Non-Japanese users will be put off by the fact that it’s NTSC and region 2 only though. What is interesting is that there are 2 types of additional batteries. The TV tuner is not integrated, so you’ll have to connect an external box to the device to watch your fave shows.

    Actually there is better one. Check out the Orbit DVD player. I believe it is made in China. It plays everything that you can image: DVD (All region), DVD+-R/RW, VCD, SVCD, MP3, Photo CD, All region TV, and build-in video games. The price? They are selling on ebay for less than $300 for a 7-inch screen one.
