Samsung starts mass production of Super-Wide LCD DID Panels

DID stands for Digital Information Displays, and Samsung starts the mass production of its Super-Wide LCD panels based on a 43” monitor with a 4:1 aspect ratio featuring a 1920×480 resolution. This new super-wide panel can be utilized in subway stations, airports, shopping malls and schools, where existing standard panels are unable to effectively deliver information.
