Instead of letting Windows Mobile 6.5 dramatically fade away after the launch of the latest Windows Phone 7, Microsoft rather seems to have decided to give it a chance and let it live with a refreshed name: Windows Phone Starter Edition. For present, there is not much information as to any other details. The only other things we know is that there will be two versions one with Office Mobile and one without and that OEMs will be launching products running on Windows Phone Starter Edition based on the interview of ZDNet’s Mary-Jo Foley with a Microsoft mobile spokesperson.
