If you like extra-ordinary mini HiFi sets, have a look at this JVC NS-W9 (Silver or White). The first remarkable aspect is that the controls have very “Hello Kitty”-like colours and are mostly aimed at the female market. Aside the colours, this set has 2 MD players (to copy from MD to MD… wow, not gooood, someone alert the RIAA!!!) and a CD player. Needless to say that you get an FM tuner too. There’s also a function called “Alpha Surround” (but we have no clue what this marketing speak means). The sound output of this set is 2 x 5.5W.
