New upgrades Sigma DP1x & DP2s digital cameras and SD15 re-introduced DSLR

At PMA, Sigma introduced two upgrade versions of its previous models “DP1s” and “DP2″.

DP1x maintains the same SLR-sized 14-megapixel Foveon X3 image sensor and lens featured in its predecessor DP1s with the big difference that it now is equipped with SIGMA’s latest “TRUE II” image processor. Other improvements include reconfigured rear design, improved AF algorithms, a new set up menu and “Quick Set” button.

DP2s retains the same 14 MP near-APS-C sized Foveon x3 image sensor but now is equipped with a new AF algorithm, new rear design and a power save mode.

Sigma also re-announced the DSLR SD15 powered by 14 megapixel Foveon X3 image sensor, featuring the same “TRUE II” image processor and 3-inch large LCD.

No word on availability and pricing, yet.
