Nikon introduced at PMA (Photo Marketing Association) 2010 International Convention in Anheim , California the Coolpix series digital cameras. The series has expanded with 8 new models but among them Coolpix P100 stands out with its 26x ultra-zoom.

P100 is capable of shooting 10.3 megapixel photos, of high-speed shooting at max. size 3648 x 2736 (10M) at a 10-fps (approx.) or up to 120-fps in Sport Continuous mode and H.264 video shooting at Full HD 1080p with stereo sound. Other specs include NIKKOR ED glass lens with a focal range of 26mm-678 mm, in-camera HDR and enhanced night shooting, electronic viewfinder, back-side illuminated sensor and weighs approx. 481 g with battery and SD memory card.
