I’ve been following OLED since the 90′s. It is one of the most sophisticated visual output technologies conceivable. There are many other applications for OLED such as transparent and flexible (think windshields and clothing) and it uses half the power of LCD. I’ve read over and over that we wouldn’t see consumer devices until 2008 because of issues with the reliability of the blue phosphors. This is a big day in the world of visual output. GO OLED!!!!
