Viera VT Series TH-P54VT2: Panasonic surprised us with new 3D Full HD TV

Panasonic just surprised us during their press Conference which was held in Yurakucho District at the Tokyo International Forum. Indeed, the Japanese manufacturer uses this occasion to introduce their all-new 3D Full HD TV, with the TH-P54VT and TH-P50VT2.
As you could guess by seeing the reference, our new TV is available in 54’’ and 50’’. Like most of 3D displays, this new 3D Viera series will require Active 3D glasses… the same introduced during the latest CES 2010, and which are more stylish than the previous Generation.
Specs side, Panasonic announced for both, a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) with a Full Black Panel which aims to offer better black color as well as sharper image, a native contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, 2.1 Built-in speakers providing an output power of 20W, BS Digital • 110 CS TV Tuner, analog TV Tuner, 4 HDMI ports, D-Sub, D4 ports, and an Ethernet LAN ( 10BASE-T / 100BASE-TX ).
Regarding the other characteristics, we have the Eco Navi function which is an energy-saving function, the compatibility with SDXC memory card, DLNA compatibility and of course, the access to VOD services (Video on Demand) like Youtube.
Besides this Amazing TV, Panasonic also introduced new Blu-Ray Player / Recorder. We will talk about them in another news.
