Time to upgrade my XBOX 360 HDD with a 250 HDD
Microsoft Japan announced its new line-up of accessories and came with a shiny new 250GB sold at 15540 Yen (125€)… I am not sure from what this HDD is made of, maybe gold or platinum but a 250GB 5400 or 4200 rpm 2.5” HDD does not cost that much here in Japan…
Anyway if like me you are stuck with a 20GB HDD on your XBOX and do not want to hack your way to install a larger HDD you will have no other choice than pay this huge premium to store your stuff.

Extremely overpriced. I upgraded my 60GB PS3 HDD with a 500GB for $70 over a year ago. What makes Microsoft think they can price their new 250GB HDD twice as much as their competitor's 500GB HDD when they are obviously failing in Japan. I guess Microsoft followers love to be ripped off. First its their $100 wifi adapter, now this.
Umm... what about the 120gb and 60gb upgrade options?
