Brother Japan introduced new e-book reader “ SV-70”, an affordable version of the previous SV-100B?

While all producers follow the trend of upgrading their products, Brother Japan decided to go for the “Road Not Taken” and opted for rather “downgrading” its previous “document viewer SV-100B”. How?
Well, keeping all the features intact with its predecessor but removing the Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR interface as well as decreasing by half the onboard memory from 1,000 pages to 500.

There is no word on pricing, yet but it will be available in Japan as of February 20.

For the common specs it shares with the previous SV100B, you can check our past news “SV-100B, Brother Japan’s Latest e-Book Reader”.
