GIGABYTE unveils their new Booktop series Notebook “M1305 “with a practical design
The new “Booktop” (NoteBOOK + DeskTOP) M1305 packs Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 (1.4 GHz), NVIDIA GeForce GT220, Mobile Intel GS45 Express + ICH9M chipset, 4GB of DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM, 500 GB of SATA HDD (5400 rpm) in its body of 328.7 (W) x 230 (D) x 29.3 (H) mm dimensions and weighs 1.79kg. It s features also include a 13.3inch wide XGA 1366 x 768 LED back-lit LCD, 4-in-1 card reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro), fingerprint device, eSATA/USB component, HDMI connector, D-Sub connector, support for Windows 7 and capability of Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN connectivity.
However, the design seems to be the most distinguishing aspect of the model as it assumes a real compact form by just sliding the main body on what seems to be its base platform.
It will be available in Japan in mid-February but no word on pricing.
