NEC presents a new version of one of its PC’s, the G series in the LAVIE range. So this is the menu: a 15″ QXGA screen (2048×1536), a Pentium M740 (1.73Ghz), 256Mb of DDR2 RAM (max Gb), Mobility Radeon X600, 40Gb HDD and a CD drive (not even DVD!!). This product is marketed as an entry level model, so don’t expect extra-ordinary performance, but it has what it needs and even a multi-card reader and a/b/g Wireless LAN. The G series weighs less than 4kg and the price is inferior to 1400 EUR.<br />
