Panasonic’s New DMC-ZX3 camera shows off 8x optical zoom and ultra-wide angle lens in its slim and compact body

Measuring just 98 x 55 x 26 mm and weighing 159g (with battery) and yet equipped with 8x optical zoom as well as 25-200mm (35mm equiv.) ultra wide-angle high performance LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens sounds indeed to be something to boast about.

Successor of the DMC-ZX1, this new model also boasts AVCHD Lite video recording capability as different from its predecessor.

Among its main specs are also 14MP sensor, a 2.7 inch LCD and SDXC support. Last but not the least, it also features Panasonic’s new ‘Happy Mode’ that optimizes the color, saturation and brightness of both photos and videos, as well featuring Optical Image Stabilizer (O.I.S), Face Detection and Intelligent Exposure functions.
