Panasonic New Viera G2 and S2 Series in sale next month
Schedule to be sold in Japan from February 5th onward, the New Viera PDP (Plasma) G2 42” (Black, Brown & Silver), 46” and 50” features Panasonic new Black Panel offering a 30% improvement in image quality compare to the previous G1 series as well as offering an effective contrast ratio of 5000000:1.
While the S2 Series, available in 42” and 46” are low-end G2 TVs and does not features the New PDP Black panel (2000000:1 contrast ratio), but however offer a 10% reduction on power thanks to its power mode.
Nothing really impressive here but at least if you are planning in owning a nice PDP TV you will be please to know that it will just cost you 190 000 Yen for a 42” S2 series or 220 000 for a 42” G2.
