New Sony Vaio S series notebook is ready to make its début in the Japanese Market

The features of the VPCS119FJ/ B model from the new Vaio S series notebooks include a tough magnesium alloy body, 13.3-inch wide WXGA （1366×768）display, 2.13 GHz Intel Core i3 processor, up to 4GB of fast DDR3 RAM, 500GB HD , Intel GMA HD graphics processor, HDMI out and a DVD Super Multidrive. In addition, it is capable of W-LAN (abgn), WiMax, Bluetooth connections and supports Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. It is also equipped with Advanced HDD protection as built-in security measure to safeguard your data against disc crushes.

It is announced to be available in Japan as of January 23.

Isn’t this equipped with the i5 processor? In the uk you can now only get the i5 or i7 with the s series. I’m looking to get one myself.

Isn’t this equipped with the i5 processor? In the uk you can now only get the i5 or i7 Processors with the s series which should make a decent improvement on the overall performance.

I’m looking to get one myself but can’t decide between this and the 13″ MacBook pro.
