JVC seems to have come out with an effective new potion in their quest to provide the best sound quality and applied it in their latest models of DVD Compact Component Systems the EX-BR3 and BK1. They both boast wood cone woofers, piano finish speaker cabinets, JVC’s own K2 Technology that provides high quality digital signal based sound as well as DEUS high quality digital amplifier technology.

Both models are capable of CD, DVD Audio, DVD Video, VCD, SVCD, DVD-R/RW, +R/RW , CD-R/RW, MP3、WMA, WAV（Linear PCM）and JPEG playback. EX-BR3 provides 80 W (40W+40W)max. output and features 9cm wood cones whereas BK1 provides 60 W (30 W+30 W) max. output and features 8.5 cm wood cones.

The pricing is announced to be around ８５，０００ yen for EX-BR3 and ６５，０００ yen for BK1. They will be available as of February.
