If until Today the Xacti Brand was only carrying camcorders, Sanyo decided that it was time to give to the Xacti product line-up another kind of product by bringing Hi-Quality PCM and Mp3 Voice Recorder with two models the ICR-XPS03MF and ICR-XPS01MF.

Both featuring a unique touch sensor and with batteries capable to be used on a Xacti DMX-CS1, they are also both capable to be used with a new Dedicated cradle that will give you either a powerful Audio System or a nice little Radio FM with radio recording capabilities.
Sold without internal memory, our 2 PCM Record are however offered with a 4GB microSD card for the ICR-XPS03MF and 2GB for the ICR-XPS01MF.

Despite their different design both recorder are technically identical and offers the same different Recording Setting giving you the best sound possible depending of what kind of situation you are in. However only the High-end model ICR-XPS03MF features a tilt Microphone for a better recording.

Now if I am not really an Audio Professional, I have to admit that I was pretty much impressed last December by the recording capabilities of these 2 little things. As a quick test I plug my Zune HD into one of them and start recorded… Once finish we decided to listen to the result while plugging the recorder on its cradle, and seriously I could not see the difference between the input, my Zune HD and the output, the Xacti…. Really impressive
