[Hands-On] Sanyo new Xacti DMX-CS1 is world slimmest Full HD Camera, now in Japan as well.
Back in December 2009, Sanyo invited us for a private session with their latest Xacti product line-up including their latest ultra slim (27mm) and light (142g) Full HD Camera.
Under NDA we were not allowed to tell you anything until CES for the US Version and today for the Japanese one.
Anyway since the Japanese version is not much different from the US one, I am pretty sure you already know everything about this SDXC capable Camera, and I will also forward you to our CES News regarding this new Xacti.
Now however and since we had the chance to play with this camera, I can give you some little first hands-on thought on it. If I have to admit that I am not so crazy about the shape of this new Xacti, its light weight and ultra slim design just make the difference for me, also Sanyo made a very clever move by making sure that its new DMX-CS1 Xacti battery will be also compatible with other new Xacti product including Sanyo new IC Recorder line-up.
Unfortunately we did not had the chance to check the new DMX-CS1 video recording capability and we will wait our Test unit to give you our feedback on this one, but according to Sanyo and despite its size the new DMX-CS1 will not disappoint us.
