Korg KAOSSILATOR Pro introduced at NAMM
Korg introduced yesterday a new model of Kaoss Pad, the Kaossilator Pro during the NAMM… Actually, this new version seems to be a kind of hybrid device born from the mix of the original Kaossilator and the KP3.
This supercharged version comes with 200 sounds with 15 effects controlled by the intuitive KAOSS X-Y touchpad. On the top of this new Touch pad, you’ll find eight programmable buttons allowing you to easily accede to your favorite sound.
Korg also provides 4 Loop record Banks, 4 measures per Banks, 31 musical scales to easily create musical phrases, standard MIDI IN/OUT connectors.
For the rest of the interface, we have ¼” Stereo Jack (Headphones), MIDI (in-Out) / USB (Type B) connector, a RCA Sterao Pair (Phono) output, RCA input, ¼” Phone Jack (Mic), 4-digit LED and SD / SDHC slot. It measures 210(W) × 226(D) × 49(H)mm for 1.3kg, and is compatible with Windows XP SP3, Vista SP2 and 7, as well as Mac OSX 10.4 and more.
This new little beast should be available around March 2010 for 399$.
