Another wonder at CES 2010 “Haier Wireless HDTV” now boasts “Product of the Future” Award
Introduced by Haier America Digital Products Group the prototype 32″ large screen HDTV is capable of demonstrating HD images using both wireless power transfer technology developed by WiTricity Corp. and WHDI (Wireless Home Digital Interface). The wireless power supply works through a coil of around 1 x 1 foot (30.48 x 30.48cm) in size on its back that can receive 100W electricity from a distance of about 1 m. from the power unit on the wall radiating RF into its back.
News dropped just yesterday that it was chosen to receive a 2010 CES “Product of the Future Award” from POPULAR SCIENCE.
