Sony introduced Full Panoramic Images Capable new CCD Cyber-Shot Digital Still Cameras
Among the five new CCD Cyber-shot cameras Sony introduced, the DSC-W370 and DSC-W350, are equipped with Sweep Panorama Technology. First introduced in Sony’s Cyber-shot DSC-HX1, DSC-TX1 and DSC-WX1 CMOS models, this technology allows you to capture wide or high images by shooting images continuously and then stitching them together to create full panaromic pictures size of 7152 x 1080 (horizontal wide panorama mode) after only one “press and sweep” motion.
DSC-W370 camera featuring a 7x long zoom lens, a 3-inch LCD screen, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and HDMI output..is capable of up to 243-degree panorama shots, whereas DSC-W350 model, which boasts being the smallest camera in height and depth in the Sony 2010 line and features 4x optical telescopic zoom, Carl Zeiss wide angle 26mm equivalent lens, 2.7-inch LCD screen, is capable of 268-degree panorama shots. Both cameras can record HD movies in 720p high definition MP4 format up to 29 minutes (or up to 2GB file size).
The other three new models include DSC-W330, DSC-W310 and DSC-S2100 which boast thin, stylish designs along with longer zoom and wide-angle lenses. W330 camera sports a large 3-inch LCD screen and a 4x Carl Zeiss lens with a wide angle 26mm equivalent lens, whereas W310 model has a 2.7-inch LCD screen and 4x zoom with wide angle 28mm equivalent lens. And the last member, the S2100 model, rather addresses your basic camera needs with a 3x zoom, 3-inch LCD screen and powered by AA batteries.
