New Turbo NAS servers from QNAP are powered by Intel Atom D510 dual-core processor
The TS-259 Pro, TS-459 Pro, TS-659 Pro and TS-859 Pro (corresponding to 2, 4, 6 and 8 drive models) offer high-performance at low power consumption via Intel Atom D510 dual-core processor. According to QNAP, they are also equipped with the latest 3.2 version of QNAP NAS management software which supports iSCSI service, SPC-3 Persistent Reservation for clustering in VMware and Windows Server 2008, MPIO and MC/S, DFS support (Folder Aggregation), import of user-list, and customizable Daylight Saving Time for easier administration, the next-generation Internet Protocol, IPv6, has been incorporated for future networking evolution. What’s more, Apple’s Time Machine back up is now supported.
