Buffalo latest NAS let you enjoy the RAID5 wonderland!
The TS-XEL/R5 from Buffalo is a new series of RAID 5 NAS sold in Japan in either 2, 4 or 6 TB (85000, 106000 and 138000 Yen), where many improvement were made, with for example a faster data processing where file(s) can be access 1.9 times faster than on previous model and 2.2x time faster is the same file(s) are access from 2 or more PCs.
Our TS-XEL/R5 support hot-swap allowing you to change on the fly a faulty HDD without the needs to shutdown your NAS.
Mac users will be please to learn that our NAS are “Time Machine” compliant, features port Trunking as well as other basic NAS features that you are used to see on other basic models.
