[Unboxing] Acer Gemstone AS8940G-BR101.

Announced earlier this month, Acer’s latest i7 notebook monster just arrived this morning at this Office, lord this PC is huge!!!!
Spec includes a 18.4” Full HD LCD, an Intel Core i7-720QM, 4GB of RAM, 1TB of HDD, a GeForce GTS 250M with 1GB of VRAM Blu-Ray Drive…

Anyway we have the best for a week and we will try to test it as much as we can, and if you have any suggestions or stuff you would like us to test, please let us know.

1TB of HDD! it must have two 500GB HD, wonder if it’s configured as RAID 0.

I got an similar but older Acer and has a bug with the sound.
After playing a movie, watching TV or hearing internet radio for some hours the sounds degrades suddenly.
It sounds like if it had a distortion and chorus.
Wonder if its Windows Vista the problem. It happens with any program so is not a specific program problem.

Hope one day to find the solution for this.
