Dear Reader, I regret to announce you that the best burger chain in Japan, after Burger King (as far as I am concerned) and just light-years better than this piece of crap that McDonald offers… Will soon close its doors in Japan… Yep, Wendy’s, my favorite Burger Chain is going to shutdown…

Zensho Co, the company that runs Wendy’s is responsible for Wendy’s death… Save the girl, Save Wendy’s… And from today onward, I will NO LONGER eat at any restaurant that is run by Zensho

McDonald’s owns 65% of the burger market share in Japan, and seriously I really don’t understand how a company who puts taste at the end of its priority list can be so powerful… Do Japanese people have no sense of good taste at all ?

I totally agree with you. Damn McDonalds on every second corner! I was always happy to find a Wendy’s somewhere. Burger Kings are hard to find, too. 5 years later there will be only McDs left.

Man all we have here in Fukui are Mcdonald’s. I’ve never had so much Mickie D’s in my life after coming here Then I discovered they have a Wendy’s in Osaka a couple of months ago. I was so jealous, but now I have no reason to go to Osaka anymore T_T

here too in the philippines mcdonalds have more stores even the cut meat patties are not that high quality and tastes like instant burgers from a foodcart .

I was amazed to see a Wendy’s the first time, except they lacked the ultra huge super sized soda ( which may not be SOOO bad) I guess it will be one of those things we all talk about…”remember when they served Wendy’s?”…. “who?”

I just spent three hours driving to Kanazawa and back just to go and have Wendy’s for the last time here since Fukui has nothing. We get lost, but finally find it. It’s in a mall, so we get down find a map, go to the second floor all excited and shit, but when we get there THEY HAD NO BURGERS!!
I don’t know why they are closing, there was still a lot of people ordering other things

If you want great burgers go to MOS. It’s the only place where you’ll get one that looks like the one on the menu. McD’s is swill. And I find that a lot of people take their McD burgers home and eat them there. Cold. congealed. With limp cold fries. So I guess that answers the question regarding taste as a priority when choosing. However, if Wendy’s were to close, and then come BACK after a brief Hiatus, there will be lines around the block! Just like BK.

Moss doesn’t taste like an American burger and is over priced. I don’t want a burger that looks like the picture. I want a burger that taste good.
