Samsung Indestructible “Plus” Memory Cards

After the launch of its “indestructible phone” the M110 Solid, these Plus memory cards coming in microSD, SD and Compact Flash again bear the bold epithet “indestructible”. There is really something tempting in the word when one comes to think about it…tempting the fearless among us to experiment to see if that really is the case…just for the sake of fun …Anyways, the point is it is always good to have secure alternatives around, even if they sometimes sound unrealistically secure…but well, in the end of the day what are the chances of hitting the extremes..So thanks to Samsung we have options of microSD and SD cards (4, 8 or 16GB) and Compact Flash memory cards (4 or 8GB) which, according to Samsung, are shock, water and magnet proof and can withstand being submerged for around 24 hours; can survive being run over by 1.6-tonne vehicle and resist over 13 times the magnetic force of home theatre speakers.

They are reported to be available in UK, Germany, France and very soon in the other parts of Europe.
