pin@clip, new i-Phone app.for AR experience in Shibuya

Ready to experience Augmented Reality (AR) with your i-Phone? Thanks to the pin@clip application, it will be possible starting with tomorrow but only in Shibuya area and only (at least for now)until March 3, 2010 as it is an experimental event. During the test period, pin@clip will be able to provide you with various real-time information such as the store sales,newly opened stores, movies, concerts, exhibitions etc. in Shibuya area. The only thing you need to do to enjoy this service is to apply online, which seems to require nothing more than sending an empty message to the designated address. And Voila! No need for application fee even! Besides, the testers are said to be rewarded with a Tokyu Hands Card with 500 points.

    Or you could just go to http://layar.eu/ and check out THAT instead. That looks like it lets you use AR anywhere. 418 Layers and it’s for the iPhone or Android phones. I’m sure the pin@clip would be more specific for Shibuya, but why limit yourself? XD
