New Silent and Robust Information Displays by SHARP

Sharp has just announced their four new information displays offering 60” (PN-E601), 52” (PN-E521), 47 “ (PN-E471) and 42” (PN-E421). The first two models (60 and 52 inches) are reported to have superior displays thanks to the advanced LCD technology, the so-called UV2A (Ultraviolet induced multi-domain Vertical Alignment) developed by the company, achieving high resolution images with low power consumption. All four models are fanless, thus not noisy, and promise to be capable of operating 24 hours. 60 inch and 52 inch displays come with 5000:1 contrast ratio and max. 500 cd/ m2 brightness, whereas 47 inch display has 1000:1 contrast ratio and max.700cd/m2 of brightness and finally 42 inch display features 3000:1 contrast ratio and 700cd/m2.

Except the 60 inch display which is scheduled to be on the market on December 22, the rest will be on sale starting with December 25 this year. No price info.
