Well Buffalo has exactly what you want thanks to their latest Blu-Ray burner a.k.a BR-X1216U3 that just happens to burn both Blu-Ray 1 or 2 layer disk up to 12x and 6x Blu-Ray LTH ones as well as being USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.

The BR-X1216U3 will be sold in Japan around the end of December at 39100 Yen (295€).

haha funny because theres not even 1 model of notebook that has usb 3.0 yet.
the only motherboard for desktop that has usb 3.0 is the asus (p6x58d) one and i think its not available yet to mass market.
maybe next year usb 3.0 products will be in full force and cheaper or perhaps later.

I think the optical media is about to die that's why Apple will bot put blu-ray player's on the Macs, This product will be cheap very soon.

It's better to get a WDTV live hook up your hard disk full of 1080p movies than burning it to something like this and put it on a bluray box. I really don't get why people will still need a bluray burner..

Anyone please enlighten me..
