[iREX 2009]Kawada’s booth and their latest NEXTAGE Humanoid robot

For those who are in Tokyo and haven’t planned anything to do today, you can take a look at the International Robot Exhibition (IREX) which takes place in Tokyo Bigsight.
And during this exposition you will be able to see Kawada’s latest Nextage Humanoid in Action that was introduced last week in Japan.
As a reminder, this new machine has been made to co-exist and co-work with Humans. Thus, our Nextage is capable of working with two other robots in perfect coordination. They will be making sure everything’s going well, or if anything is missing, etc… They can work really fast, but also slow down their job if they feel Human presence behind them in order to avoid any incident.

Anyway, make sure you visit Kawada’s booth, or if you’re not in Tokyo, you will probably find the related video on the Internet.
