[InterBEE 09]PMW-EX1R displayed on Sony’s Booth

Yesterday, during the International BEE, Sony was exhibiting their latest PMW-EX1R, an upgrade of the nice PMW-EX1 and which had also been introduced one month ago.

Regarding, the body, nothing really new but with some new features like a new HDMI output, an improved viewfinder, a One-Push Auto Iris Function, an improved handgrip… This new model will also allow the user to shoot video in SD on DVCAM.

For the other specs, the PMW-EX1R features three 1/2-inch Exmor CMOS Sensor, a 14x optical Zoom, 3.5-inch Color LCD, 0.45-inch viewfinder, and provides a sensitivity of F10 and a signal-to-noise ratio of 54dB. Of course you will be able to shoot pictures in 1920×1080 on a 32GB SxS memory Card.
This new Camcorder will be available in december around 6875€
