PFU Limited, New Hybrid Color Scanner both for Mac and Windows

PFU Limited, a Fujitsu company, just announced today their new compact ( H77×W284×D99mm) 1.4 kg scanner ScanSnap S1300. Combining the Intelligent Software Function of ScanSnap S300 series, which allows you to have your documents in PDF with just one push, with the design of the upper model ScanSnap S1500 for Europe, ScanSnap S1300 offers service both to Mac OS and Windows users. It supports Windows 7, Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard as well as the previous Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard.

It also has business card management programs Business Card Filing OCR V3.1 (Windows) and CardMinder V1.1 (Mac). PFU direct price without the Document Manager Software “Easy Personal Library 5.0” for Windows is announced to be 27, 800 yen, whereas the pre-installed version comes at 32,800 yen.
