Toshiba and Zenrin DataComm, announced yesterday the new service for Japanese mobile phones “PinPoint the Weather”. Based on a subscription fee (157 yen a month or 1.17€), the Weather Service is targeted to all Weather Freaks who cannot get out without knowing how the weather will be at an exact moment and location.

Available on Both DoCoMo, Softbank and AU Phone, this impressively accurate system uses your Mobile Phone GPS location to give you the exact weather forecast within 3.5km around your present location and refreshes every single hour.
