Ricoh has just unveiled its new system camera GXR

Even smaller than Olympus’ and Panasonics’ MICRO FOUR THIRDS, Ricoh GXR definitely has managed to surprise us with what it offers as a system camera: 2 distinctive lens/sensor units that you can slide into the body of the camera. One of them, GR LENS A12 is a unit composed of 50 mm F2.5 MACRO lenses with 12.3 megapixel CMOS sensor that can do HD video (1230 x 720P), has raw burst speed of 4 frames per second and weighs 263 gr. , whereas the other, RICOH LENS S10, is composed of 24-72mm F2.5-4.4 VC lenses with 10 megapixel built-in CCD sensor that can shoot VGA video (630 X 480P), has raw burst speed of 5 frames per second and weighs 161 gr.
The viewfinder also comes as a separate unit and also there are options of Wide Conversion Lens DW6 and Tele-conversion Lens TC-1 for Ricoh Lens S10 unit.
