Softbank Aquos Shot, 12.1Mpix Camera phone with 100 Burst mode

Unlike its brother the Aquos Full Touch, the Aquos shot is mainly aimed at people searching for a compact yet powerful mobile phone with a descent Camera mode.
The Aquos Shot offers on top of its 12.1MPix with AF and touch AF, a unique Burst mode allowing you to capture 100 pictures in QVGA in just a few seconds.
Not sure if these kinds of features will be useful on a daily basis but I am sure that you will find some good use of it, either while doing sports with friends or to capture your kids playing around.

The Aquos Shot or 940SH, is also compatible with the Softbank Wi-Fi, VOD, e-Book (Magastore) service, and also features a 1Seg TV tuner, GPS, Bluetooth…

burst mode isn’t “unique” plenty of western phones have it .. heck even the iPhone has a burst mode capability .. via an app of course!

Aprililago the Sharp Shot SH003 looks like a CDMA phone so um .. good luck with that ..

how is the Japan market doing these days – still a closed shop? apart from the iPhone?
whatever happened to Japanese superphones taking over the world?

Yep Japanese companies are dead in the water when it comes to mobile phone here and this despite some major merger and stuff. The Big winner are Apple, Samsung and LG. TO be fair, Japanese company never succeed to marry correctly hardware and software on a mobile phone. Also their product are made of poor material compares to others.
