Here’s Buffalo’s latest CD/DVD and Blu-ray disc burner, the BR-PX68U2-BK. It’s an external USB 2.0 drive that burns and reads BD-R/RE or BD-R LTH 1 layer discs at a 6x maximum speed and at 4x speed BD-R/RE or BD-R LTH 2 layers discs.
It’s USB powered, and weight only 340g for total size of only 137×142x20mm. It will be sold in Japan for around 31,000 Yen (€230).

I don’t like the burn speeds on this one.
I use this USB Blu-Ray drive myself. It gives me at least 8X on burning.
The only real purpose of bringing along an external Blu-Ray burner is more for the burning and not for Blu-Ray movies, unless you have a monstter laptop with HDCP capable display.
But if you have a Monster Laptop, you may already have a Blu-Ray drive in it
