Buffalo Unleashes a Faster, More Powerful NAS Upon the Geeks of Japan
Here’s Buffalo’s LS-WXL/R1, a NAS supporting various RAID configurations, but sold by default with RAID1 and in the following capacities: 1TB, 2TB and 3TB.
Thanks to its Gigabit Ethernet port, Buffalo announced a 40.1MB/s max speed for data transmission, as well as twice smaller than the previous generation.
Of course it supports basic DLNA functions, but also implements DTCP-IP for storing and playing DTCP-IP capable copyrighted materials.

Same applies for Buffalo’s LinkStationMini mini NAS also sold in RAID1 in 500GB, 1TG or 240GB (SSD), with DTCP-IP support, DLNA… Without, however, a CPU upgrade.
