Asus Upgrades Their Eee PC with Windows 7

Asus just upgraded their EeePC 1005 series netbooks with Windows 7 Starter. The 1005HR-WS, a 10.1-inch netbook now comes with an Intel Atom N280 (1.66GHz) CPU, 1GB of memory, an Intel 945GSE Express chipset, 250GB of HDD, as well as Wifi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, webcamera, 3 USB ports. Asus announced a price of 49,800 Yen.

The 1005HE-WS250 provides a WSVGA resolution (1024×600) instead of 1366×768, and the 1005HE-WS160 will get 160GB of HDD instead of 250GB…
