AU KDDI’s Winter Line-up… Mamorino, Your Kids Best Friend

Since Japanese don’t usually drive their kids to school… you see kids wondering alone around the country side and the cities for kilometers, starting from 4 or 5 years old… AU, Kyocera and SECOM (a security company) joined hands to offer Mamorino, a new mobile phone made for kids to help prevent them from being abducted… Thanks to its internal GPS parents can always know their kid’s whereabouts, and if something happens can contact the SECOM security company in an emergency…

Yeah… Right… What about driving the kids to school and back home everyday? Wouldn’t that be safer?
