Canon 7D Firmware Update… Bye Bye Artifact! Update no.. Still there !

Ok, here’s a few screen shots taken with a 7D with a 50mm Canon lens (without a tripod), and there’s no doubt the new Firmware 1.0.9 provides BETTER video in 720/60p… Moiré patterns or artifacts (name them what you want) are almost gone, almost since I believe canon could do even better, but the results are acceptable and now… the 7D has a proper 720/60p video mode…


Update, there is still the moiré effect after the 1.0.9 update… Video shot on a Tripod in 720p, the artifact is still there in 1080p.
