Sanyo Introduces Their Latest Xacti with iFrame Support
Earlier this year I learned that both Apple and Sanyo were working on something big that will change the way video is edited… While so far I haven’t learned that much about it, today’s announcement keeps up with what I knew… Thanks to the new iFrame video format that’s now included in Sanyo latest VPC-H2000A and VPC-FH1A Xacti.
This new format can also be used with both Mac and PC compatible applications due to the use of standards-based technologies such as H.264, AAC, MP4 and MOV.
If iFrame Technology is quite an achievement, it’s limited to an unusual video resolution of 960×540 (30fps)… However, both the VPC-FH1A and VPC-HD2000A will continue (on top of the iFram video format) to support 1080/60p.
