Century Finally Upgrades Thier Ikkoichi 2.5” HDD Enclosure

I’m the proud owner of the first generation Ikkoichi 2.5” aluminum HDD enclosure offered with two FireWire 400 ports but only supported IDE HDDs… Since getting one of these 2.5” IDE thingies is extremely difficult, Century decided to upgrade their enclosure by giving it one USB 2.0 and two FireWire 400 ports and support of SATA 2.5” HDDs …. YEAH!

Century is scheduled to ship me one next week and I’m looking forward to installing a 500GB HDD… I desperately need this baby to use as a scratch disk with Final Cut Pro when I’m on the go.

If you’re interested in getting one, the IKKOICHI HDD enclosure has been available for a week on GeekStuff4U.com !
