[CEATEC 09- Live] Sony’s Interactive Digital Signage Player

It took me a while to understand what Sony meant by an interactive digital signage player, but luckily for me there was a nice a nice Sony staffer who took the time to explain everything… I’m sure you know what a digital signage player is… If not check Wikipedia What Sony tried to do is link several TVs, PS3 and Sony eye cameras together (up to 20) for a unique way of attracting the customer’s attention.

Sony staff showed us several promotional videos of cameras following subjects across several screens that included some nice little fire effects. Interesting concept that may attract a lot of attention once in place since the PS3 not only happens to be extremely fast and reliable, but also very cheap (compared with other solutions).
