[CEATEC 09- Live] Nissan EPORO… From Alpha to Beta

Back in 2008 at CEATEC, Nissan introduced their first Crash Avoiding Robot. This year they had nothing amazingly new under the hood, they only recycled and upgraded their cute little robot now known as EPORO…

So what’s new? They no longer crash!!! Just kidding, Nissan fine tuned the technology and gave them fish like behavior (sonar, moving in schools…). This technology is definitely a step forward in collision avoidance between vehicles and I hope to see EPORO technology soon.

It’s nice design, like a little ninja, so cute. All of Japanese robots are so cute too.
