[CEATEC 09- Live]Toshiba Dynapocket and TransferJet

TransferJet is a technology that we’ve been waiting for a long long time… Simply put, TransferJet allows you to forward data from one device to another at a maximum speed of 200MBps by simply touching one device with the other. Faster and WAY simpler than WiFi or Bluetooth, TransferJet is the future of simple data transfer.

Today, and as you’ll see tomorrow in our video, Toshiba installed this technology on both a Pocket PC of their own (powered by a Snapdragon CPU), and a Notebook… Transferring a photo from the Windows Mobile device to a PC is almost instantaneous.

Alongside TransferJet Technology Toshiba displayed some nice little PDA prototypes that should reach a pocket near you in the future. They also displayed the Toshiba compact PC used in the G.I Joe movie.
