[TGS09] Lost Planet 2

Lost Planet 2, unveiled at the beginning of the year, was also exhibited on the Tokyo Game Show 2009. This version of Capcom’s science fiction third-person shooter takes place 10 years after the first Lost Planet, on E.D.N. III.

Running on the MT-Framework 2.0 engine, Capcom’s proprietary game engine, we impatiently waited it in action. The results were very impressive, beautiful graphics, smooth… Not so surprising since the first opus was graphically excellent…

Regarding, the game play, we had some minor improvement, but nothing really new compared to Lost Planet. However, the player will be now able to customize his character (Head, Body, gesture….)

The novelty is probably it campaign mode co-op support that’s playable for up to 4 players…. A mode where users can complete the campaign with three other players. An interesting concept, but it will be difficult for us to give you a real opinion on something that’s not so different from the first Lost Planet…

For those who are looking for a game with a Co-Op Mode that was missing on the first campaign, this game will probably be a must have…
