TV Asahi Now Using the Canon 5D MK II as a Primary HD Camera

TV Asahi’s new program called “Ride the Highway of the World” (translated name) is now the first TV show in Japan entirely shot with the Canon 5D MK II… An interesting move that we hope to see more often and will most probably force Canon to fix some of the 5D MK II’s limitation (WE WANT 720/60p) as well as the horrible Jello bug which can affect VERY fast panning movements.

I LOVE THE 5D MK II, best ever video camera made for its ratio performance/price… Now RED… We’re only waiting for your little Scarlet !
