Sony’s New 7.2mm and 64GB A Series Walkman (with Video)

We’ve seen some pictures of Sony’s upcoming A Series Walkman, and today Sony made it official with some pretty impressive specs.
The new A Series Walkman, available with either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of memory features a 2.8” OLED 2.8” screen, supports MPEG-4, AVC and WMV video and MP3, WMA, ATRAC, PCM and AAC audio, PS3 compatible at just 62g… IMPRESSIVE! If you’re interested in a simple DAP and doen’t want to bother with apps an stuff like that, the A Series Walkman is a real killer!

“This may be the hardest competition for ipod”
I’m sure plenty of Japanese people will be happy to pay through the nose for yet another SONY gadget that costs more and does less with cutesy Mickey Mouse style buttons, but will the rest of the world?
Nice writing style. I look forward to reading more in the future.
Daxomni, Sony Gadget does less, but they do better product (Sound Quality…)
Since is a $ony and 64GB, it will costs like $500 or more, besides no FLAC support?
BIG no thanks. I’ll stay with my awesome Creative Xtra, is old, but I can put 80~120GB on it w/o problem. The sound quality is just the best and blows away the shitty iPod.
