Acer to Launch Their Aspire Timeline Series WiMAX Powered

Today in Roppongi (Tokyo), Acer Japan introduced their latest Notebook line-up powered by WiMAX: the Aspire One Series (Netbook) and Aspire Timeline (Notebook)
- The Aspire One Series AO531h-Bk86X is a 10.1’’ Netbook with a WSVGA resolution (1024×600), powered by an Intel Atom N280 (1.66GHz) CPU, a Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset, 1GB of DDR2-533 RAM, 160GB of HDD (5400rpm), as well as 5-in-1 Card Reader, Webcamera, Bluetooth 2.1, the Intel WiMAX / Wi-Fi, 3USB ports and a 6 cells battery providing up to 7.5 hours of battery life span.

- The Aspire Timeline Series: For this line-up Acer introduced four models with either an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 (1.4GHz) CPU, or a Celeron Dual Core SU2300 (1.2GHz), from 1GB to 4GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD, a 13.3-inch LCD screen with a WXGAG Resolution (1366×768 ).
The Aspire TimeLine also comes with the WiMAX / Wi-Fi, an HDMI port, 1 D-Sub VGA port, 3 USB2.0, the Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, a 5-in-1 card reader, a web camera and a 6 cells battery providing up to 8 hours of battery life span.
